I joined the gym in 2007, never expecting to become a runner. My goal was to transform my misshapen body back into some semblance of myself after having two wonderful children. I knew that there was no quick fix to achieving this goal; it was going to take a lot of hard work and persistence. Two and a half years later I have achieved my goal through weightlifting, biking and running. Somewhere along the way I began to define myself as a runner.
